The 161,458 square foot AFA Cultural Center located in the city of Sakarya, Turkey and designed by Melike Altinisik Architects creates the fluidity of perception with its iconic character and combines it with the soul of contemporary cultural activities. The project merges the local and the visitor community of all generations under a single roof with two auditoriums, associated facilities, and the surrounding public cultural plaza.

Role: Lead Design Development Specialist
Conceptualized, designed, and finalized all schematic renderings of the construction project alongside the architectural and engineering departments, spearheaded negotiations and executed pivotal contracts regarding the project’s design, and identified and obtained key materials to ensure the efficacy of the Cultural Center’s design acoustics and structure.
